"It has all the ingredients that will make it a summer hit," Duran said. "It's the song you want to listen to while you're getting ready to go out with your girlfriends; it's a feel-good song; and if you listen to the lyrics they tell you, 'Hey, get out in life and take a chance!'"
Gomez revealed that she can relate to the song on a personal level and picked out her favorite lyrics, which are the song's opening lines: "It's the boy you never told 'I like you'/ It's the girl you let get away."

When asked whether the 19-year-old pop sensation has any regrets, she replied, "I don't like regrets. I mean, I've made mistakes but everything happens for a reason."
Another thing to look forward to—Selena's very first Funny or Die skit which will premiere online in the not too distant future. While Gomez was excited to be involved with the famed comedy site, she admits the new gig gave her a few butterflies at first.
"I was really nervous cause there is a lot of pressure," she explains. "They are really good at what they do... [But] they gave me a skit I think is really funny and hopefully people will agree."

As for whether or not she hit a comedy home run with the FOD crowd, she can't say for sure.
"I'm awkward which could be funny I guess," she laughs. " I worked on a sitcom for four years so that's helped a little."
