Yesterday gave the world its first look at Angelina Jolie as Maleficent, Sleeping Beauty's seriously wicked stepmother, and we all marveled at the prosthetic enhancements that gave Angie glowing eyes, elevated cheekbones and a set of hot horns. However, that carefully retouched image, released by Disney, didn't give us a glimpse of anything going on below the neck.

But with production now underway in England, and paparazzi stalking the set, fans can finally get a gander of Jolie's head-to-toe look and see those horns in the light of day.

Costume-wise, this looks suitably regal -- who doesn't love a magical staff? -- while the horns appear loosely applied. Although, given the film's long post-production process (Maleficent is not slated to hit theaters until March 2014!), I assume a fair amount of time will be spent seamlessly CGI-ing those horns to her head.

The film -- which co-stars Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson and Juno Temple -- will reveal the events that hardened Maleficent's heart and drove her to curse the baby, Aurora.
