When asked on Sunday night by one of his followers if he had a girlfriend, the TV star wrote: "@RaeFRobinson don't have a girlfriend. She decided she was too good."

This was then followed up with a series of other cryptic tweets. Could they be aimed at his ex? One message read: "There's a difference between celebrities, and movie stars. Celebrities fade away, while movie stars stick around forever."

He later added: "Never any disrespect towards anyone. Only if you say what you say you should stick to it. If you say you love then love."

Coincidentally, Twitter is how Hale, 23, and Zylka, 27, went public with their relationship this past March. Both attended the Cosmopolitan's Fun Fearless Male Awards in New York City, and following the event, Zylka posted a pic of Hale with a caption that read: "My girl was definitely THE bell of the ball tonight."
