There seems to be no hard feelings between Angelina Jolie and her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton, as the actress penned some pretty high praises for Billy in the forward of his new book The Billy Bob Tapes: A Cave Full of Ghosts.

According to Life & Style, Angelina wrote that her former lover "has a big beautiful heart," and reportedly went on to gush, "He has an unmatchable wit and can make you laugh until your face hurts ... I know one thing: The world would certainly be a hell of a lot more dull if that man weren't in it."

This news follows Angelina's highly publicized engagement to her partner of seven years, Brad Pitt.

The news source reports that Billy Bob recently took the blame for the failure of his marriage to Angelina, saying, "I blew it because I didn't think I was good enough for her ... She has one way she wanted to live her life and I had another way to live mine, and I was just too insecure."

The two Oscar winners wed in 2000 after co-starring together in the 1999 film Pushing Tin. They divorced in 2003.
