Elisabeth Shue Talks Tennis & 'CSI'
March 14, 2012
Elisabeth Shue recently joined the cast of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, but the Oscar-nominated actress revealed past desires to go pro in another arena during a sit-down with The Insider's Kevin Frazier.
Kevin met up with Elisabeth, 48, at the BNP Paribas Open in Palm Desert, where the Leaving Las Vegas star gave Kevin quite a workout in their friendly matchup.
Elisabeth explained how she became introduced to the sport, saying, "I ripped my Achilles when I was 38, doing gymnastics and I needed to find a sport that would take me through to death."
Death is a subject Elisabeth has become familiar with since joining the CSI cast along with fellow Hollywood veteran Ted Danson.
"I love working with Ted," Elisabeth gushed. "It's very fun to play with him. And the other cast has been so welcoming and they're all such professionals and such good actors, so I feel so fortunate to be a part of that group."
Watch an all-new CSI Wednesday, March 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
